Senior Electronics Engineer | Medical Devices

About the Role
As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of cutting-edge medical devices, providing high-quality and innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. Working from feasibility through to implementation, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop products that meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead circuit-level hardware design, including architecture, component selection, schematic entry, and board bring-up.
* Interface with hardware peripherals such as sensors and motor drivers.
* Collaborate with software, mechanical design, and system engineering teams.
* Evaluate and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as UL, IEC, and FDA.
* Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to resolve product failures and enhance design integrity.
* Develop and execute test procedures in line with IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 standards.
* Provide technical expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing, AC/DC and DC/DC converters, and firmware development.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
* At least five years of experience designing and testing analog and digital circuitry.
* Strong background in microprocessors, circuit simulation, and modular system design.
* Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN in an embedded environment.
* Familiarity with electrical drawing packages such as SolidWorks Electrical, Eplan, and AutoCAD Electrical.
* Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
