Job Description:
Cork District Society is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Professional Event Coordinator. This position requires a strong ability to manage events from planning and advertising stages through to completion and follow-up.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in event management, combined with marketing expertise. They must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment that demands high levels of flexibility, initiative, and customer service ability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all society events from planning and advertising stages through to completion and follow-up
* Maintain a complete file for each event held, including contracts, financial details, design, and press elements
* Monitor and analyze financial outcomes of events as part of post-event review
* Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Support the Chairman, Officers and other Main Committee and Sub-Committee members in all Society matters
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5 years of experience in event management, combined with marketing expertise
* Demonstrated relationship management and ability to build strong relationships with members and senior stakeholders
* Be highly organized and competent with database systems and Microsoft Office
