The role involves managing residential communities and day services nationwide, offering unique, person-centred care that transforms lives. This position requires an understanding of developments at national and sectoral level in relation to quality and safety within disability services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading teams of social and care staff in supporting adults with physical / intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs
* Developing and implementing care plans that promote independence and community integration
* Managing budgets and resources to ensure efficient service delivery

The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of a Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care
* At least 2 years management experience at a similar level of responsibility
* At least 3 years' experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector
* Detailed understanding of developments at national and sectoral level in relation to quality and safety within disability services
