The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of enhanced health, safety, and environmental policies and practices. They will be responsible for conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and promoting a proactive approach to risk management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Lead the charge on maintaining high standards of safety, health, and environmental quality
Develop and implement improved EHSQ practices, policies, and procedures
Remain abreast of new legislation and maintain knowledge of applicable laws
Promote employee awareness and training for EHSQ
**Requirements:**
BSc in Health and Safety or relevant field
Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry
In-depth knowledge of Irish Health and Safety legislation
Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software
