Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Aiding in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
* Preparation and processing of weekly payroll transactions.
* Effective management of the creditors ledger and timely payments.
* Creation of sales invoices and prompt collection of payments.
* Accurate completion and filing of all required returns with Revenue and other authorities within specified deadlines.
* Performing thorough balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register.
* Assisting with general office tasks as needed.
Requirements:
* Prior experience with Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll Packages is highly desirable.
* A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a fast-paced accounting environment.
* Proficiency in producing accurate and timely monthly accounts and reconciliations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure work environment.
* Excellent analytical and commercial acumen.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.
* Proactive approach to implementing solutions and problem-solving.
