This programme provides personalised training pathways, career development support, and employer engagement—grounded in the social model of disability and human rights.We welcome applications from neurodivergent and disabled candidates and will endeavour to provide reasonable accommodations at every stage of recruitment and employment.What You'll DoAs an Employability Mentor, you will play a key role in empowering participants by providing tailored mentoring, guidance, skills development, and advocacy support. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team to help each person progress toward certified training, employment, or other meaningful next steps.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Empowerment & Participant SupportSupport participants through a structured, person-centred mentoring process that enables them to reach their full potential.Work with empathy, flexibility, and respect for diverse experiences.Training Facilitation & WorkshopsDeliver workshops both online and in person across FIT locations.Deliver and develop content for a six module national work preparation programme (CV development, interview skills, growth mindset, soft skills, and more).Career Development & AdvocacyAdvocate for each participant's unique career goals and support them through the recruitment process.Work 1:1 with participants during training and for up to 6 months upon completion of Cuimisu.Employer EngagementEngage with over 250 inclusive, industry aligned employers to support job matching and needs analysis.Programme AdministrationMaintain accurate weekly and monthly records and CRM documentation.Contribute to reporting, data collection, and participation in Pobal sessions.Attend weekly team meetings.Attend meetings at the discretion of your line manager.Who We're Looking ForWe value lived experience, diverse perspectives, and transferable skills.
