Job Title: Reservations Supervisor
We are seeking a skilled Reservations Supervisor to join our team in a busy contemporary hotel. This role is responsible for maximizing revenue through effective reservations management, driving occupancy, average rate and market share performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle all individual direct reservations and small groups.
2. Respond to all enquiries, ensuring timely submission of quotations to clients and systematic follow up of all enquiries/quotations.
3. Manage all bookings from provisional booking stage through to final bill payment and acknowledgement.
4. Ensure all emails are handled and managed efficiently.
5. Encourage and develop relationships with new and existing clients, working closely with the sales department to drive business for all departments of the hotel.
6. Liaise with and work closely with the Revenue Manager.
7. Participate in and contribute to the hotel's regular Sales & Revenue meetings and ensure all relevant reports are timely and accurate.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in the Reservations department of a large four-star hotel with a mix of leisure, corporate and function business. Further attributes include excellent communication skills with fluent written and verbal English, genuine commitment to delivering top levels of guest service, strong systems knowledge, experience with Guestline PMS an advantage, team player and keen attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
