Job Role:
Tax Advisory Position
Seeking a seasoned Tax Professional to join our dynamic tax advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and desires flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and submitting tax returns across various headings including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, and Stamp Duty.
* Delivering timely, expert tax advice and guidance to a broad client base.
* Developing strategic tax plans to optimize client tax positions.
* Representing clients during Revenue audits and interventions.
* Handling complex tax areas such as Share buybacks, Double taxation agreements, Payroll tax compliance for residents and non-residents, Cross-border transaction tax implications, Start-up tax reliefs for companies.
The ideal candidate should possess a CTA qualification from the Irish Tax Institute with at least 2 years post-qualification experience. Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation and compliance requirements is necessary.
Previous experience in practice, with exposure to all tax heads is desired. An accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA) is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines is necessary.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy is expected. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is necessary.
Fluent written and spoken English is required.
