Job Description
State Street is seeking a DLP Platforms Technical Support Lead to oversee a team responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising DLP systems. You will lead technical support engineers, manage incident resolution, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to DLP strategy and project initiatives.
Who Are We Looking For
We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented leader with deep understanding of DLP technologies, proven team leadership, and ability to resolve complex technical issues. You will ensure DLP platforms protect sensitive data and comply with security policies.
What You Will Be Responsible For
* Lead and mentor a team of technical support engineers specializing in DLP platforms
* Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to SLAs
* Tune and upgrade system components, following internal testing and change management processes
* Work with stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities
* Contribute to projects that improve current DLP capabilities, drive adoption, and enable future growth
* Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures
* Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to DLP platforms
* Partner within the Cyber Fusion Centre teams to ensure DLP platforms meet operational needs, including DLP Program Operations, Insider Threat and Incident Response
What We Value
* Experience operating and supporting DLP tools across multiple security domains such as Network, Email, Endpoint, and Web
* Knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms (Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian, ProofPoint, Microsoft Purview)
* Strong skills managing Linux (RHEL) application deployments, configurations, and updates
* Understanding of data protection, information security, and cybersecurity practices
* Direct experience managing, mentoring, and leading teams
* Creating a collaborative environment that drives knowledge sharing
* A collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving security
* Desire to learn, combined with a strong work ethic
* Experience in a 24/7 security operations environment emphasizing reliability and system availability
Education & Preferred Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a related field
* Degree not required; qualification in information security or information systems is beneficial
* Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, GSEC) or relevant product certifications may be beneficial
* Experience in financial services may be beneficial
Additional Requirements
* Role may be filled in Ireland – Kilkenny or Dublin
* Team supports 24/7 operations; weekend work may be required
