We are seeking a seasoned Sales Leader to spearhead our growth trajectory. The successful candidate will play an integral part in driving business expansion, leading multidisciplinary teams, and developing strategic sales plans for various business units.
The role is based in Co. Galway and requires travel. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for mentoring and motivating Sales Managers, implementing and refining sales strategies, and enhancing sales processes and customer service.
* People Engagement: Demonstrate inspiring sales leadership by supporting and motivating sales managers. Manage sales team issues, recruitment, and people training/development.
* Sales Strategy: Implement and refine sales strategy, route-to-market analysis, optimisation, and consolidation. Conduct sales analysis, forecasting, budgeting, planning, and performance reporting.
* Sales Operations: Enhance sales processes and KPIs. Optimise CRM including pipeline management.
* Key Account Management: Negotiate contracts and tenders. Develop pricing strategies for sustainable margin growth.
* Customer Insights: Provide customer feedback, market trends, and competitor analysis.
* Business Development: Increase vitality and new products sales by acquiring new customers, products, and territories. Identify, launch, and commercialise new products and categories.
* Attend industry events.
* Brand Development: Value proposition mapping. Marketing collateral development. Lead generation campaigns.
Requirements:
* 5 years of international sales management experience. Ability to understand and draft sales strategies, translate them into structured systems, and ensure execution and business impact.
* 7 years of sales/marketing experience with a proven record of sales performance. Online sales experience advantageous.
* Results-oriented mindset with the ambition and drive to deliver against defined metrics.
* Degree in Business or equivalent.
* Experience and network in the construction and/or agri markets is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Multi-languages advantageous.
* Advanced negotiation and decision-making skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Financial literacy. IT fluency: experience with CRM and sales enhancement tools.
