We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team covering the Munster region, overseeing financial and contractual management while supporting our project growth.
Role Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor at Skyline Scaffolding Ltd, you will take full responsibility for the financial and contractual management of our scaffolding projects. You will prepare accurate estimates, manage tendering process and monitor costs. Working closely with project managers, clients, and contractors, you will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for scaffolding projects.
* Manage tender processes and evaluate contractor and supplier bids.
* Monitor project costs and implement cost-control measures.
* Conduct risk assessments, cost analysis, and value engineering.
* Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
* Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
* Ensure compliance with contracts and health & safety regulations.
* Produce regular financial and progress reports for senior management.
Requirements
* Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
* 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in scaffolding, construction, or related industries.
* Strong experience in cost planning, tender documentation, and project delivery.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software tools.
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Full Clean Driving Licence Required.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
