Overview of role:
The Maintenance & Fleet Officer supports the Fleet Team to ensure the management of the Company's facilities, assets and vehicle fleet. The Maintenance & Fleet Officer will assist in ensuring all vehicles, equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard and assist in the administrative recording of vehicle, fuel and related data. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in scheduling the delivery and movement of equipment, tools and materials.
* Maintain data relating to service records, inspections and repairs.
* Liaise with external suppliers and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
* Assist in the recording of data maintained for compliance reporting purposes.
* Assist in the monitoring of Fleet and arrange for timely servicing or replacement.
* Provide assistance in responding and following up of enquires.
* Assist in the maintenance of Company facilities.
Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
* Excellent organisational skills, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
* Willingness to work with others to solve problems in a fast moving environment.
* Experience working in the construction industry would be an advantage.
* Ability to work independently or part of a team.
* Current Drivers Licence
