Assistant Store Operations Manager
Our store provides an exceptional retail experience, thanks to our enthusiastic team. We take pride in delivering excellent customer service and a passion for sport. The role involves midweek and weekend rostering, as well as daily store operations support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the management team with store opening and closing procedures, deliveries, stock management, and cash handling.
* Assign tasks to staff and ensure that all procedures are followed correctly.
Job Requirements:
* A minimum of two years' retail experience is required.
* A warm, friendly, and engaging personality is essential.
* Excellent communication skills are necessary, including being outgoing, energetic, and focused on delivering a great customer experience.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Carry out other retail duties expected of all staff, such as sales, customer experience, recovery, deliveries, etc.
* Operate the till and handle financial transactions securely.
* Be security-conscious within the store and stock rooms, monitoring potential shoplifters and following security guidelines to prevent theft and protect stock.
