ACCPRO has partnered with a leading infrastructure organisation to recruit for an Ecologist Executive. This role combines field ecology, biodiversity planning, and sustainability reporting, with the opportunity to make a tangible impact on Ireland's natural environment. Initial contract but with a view to permanency. Salary c. €65-75kResponsibilities:Conduct terrestrial and aquatic ecological surveys, including Appropriate Assessment ScreeningDevelop biodiversity initiatives and vegetation management plans that support safe operationsMonitor projects and ensure ecological mitigation measures are implementedManage invasive species databases and eradication programmesPrepare annual biodiversity reports in line with legislation and sustainability goalsDeliver training and guidance to engineers, field staff, and contractorsLiaise with statutory agencies, consultants, and interest groups on ecology mattersRespond to environmental queries, complaints, and compliance issuesRequirements:Level 8 degree in Ecology, Environmental Biology, Environmental Science or related discipline.5+ years post-graduate experience in ecology/environmental management.Full member of CIEEM (or equivalent).Full clean driving licence.Experience in biodiversity/ecological management planning, ecological surveys, and mitigation monitoring.Strong report writing, organisational, and time management skills.Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
