On behalf of their Client, Kenny-Whelan are hiring a CAD Engineer/Senior CAD Technician for a Global Life Science Company in Cork.
Main duties and responsibilities:Generating/drafting P&IDs, PFDs, BFDs, updating E&I drawing packsEnsuring Drafting, Equipment Codes, Drawing/Sheet numbers, etc, are correctly used by technical personnelPreparing electrical drawings from verbal instructions & sketchesKeeping records and documenting, tracking engineering, maintenance & utility drawingsIssuing tags for all plant equipment & instrumentsGenerating and drafting motor and control panel schematics, overall system layouts, single line drawings, block cable drawings, instrument loopsIdentifying hazardous areas such as lighting, fire alarm systems, & etc.Updating electrical & instrument drawingsEducation and Requirements:Qualified AutoCAD 2D and 3D, City & GuildsElectrical apprenticeship or relevant qualification.Additional Skills desired:5 years + experience on a Pharmaceutical/Biotech Site essentialWorking with a Capital Projects Team very desirableAbility to prioritise workload in accordance with timelinesProven experience of working as an individual and as part of a teamContinuous Improvement mindset i.e.
