Commercial ExecutiveDepartment: Commercial TeamReports to: Commercial DirectorLocation: The Heights Hotel KillarneyContract: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe're looking for a driven, detail loving, people person to join our Commercial Team as Commercial Executive at The Heights Hotel Killarney.This role reports directly into our Commercial Director supporting the commercial function of the team.You'll work alongside our Revenue Manager, Wedding Manager and Commercial Team.This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting all things sales, marketing, revenue and weddings from responding to enquiries and building relationships, to supporting campaigns, managing systems and helping drive direct business.If you love hospitality, enjoy juggling projects, have a commercial brain and a creative streak, this is where you'll thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration & Sales DevelopmentHandle incoming leisure, group, corporate and wedding enquiries in a professional and timely mannerPrepare proposals, contracts and follow-ups to convert enquiries into confirmed businessSupport proactive sales activity including local corporate, tour operators and event plannersMaintain accurate records in CRM and sales tracking systemsAssist with site inspections, show-arounds and wedding appointments when requiredWeddings & Events SupportSupport the Weddings & Events team with enquiry handling, confirmations and adminAssist with wedding showcases, open days and promotional eventsPrepare function sheets, contracts and coordination details as requiredProvide exceptional guest experience from first enquiry to post-event follow-upMarketing & Digital SupportAssist with social media scheduling, content coordination and campaign rolloutsSupport email marketing, promotions and seasonal offersUpdate website content and online listings when requiredAssist with photography, video shoots and brand content creationSupport partnerships with local attractions and tourism bodiesRevenue & SystemsSupport rate loading, promotions and package set-up across systemsAssist with reporting on performance including occupancy, ADR and pick-upEnsure accuracy across booking channels and internal systemsSupport direct booking initiatives and OTA optimisationAdmin & Commercial CoordinationPrepare reports, presentations and marketing materialsMaintain accurate databases and filing systemsSupport budget tracking and campaign performance reportingAct as a key link between Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office and OperationsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in hospitality, sales, events, reservations or marketing (hotel experience a big plus)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised with strong attention to detailConfident dealing with guests, couples, corporate clients and suppliersComfortable working across multiple systems and platformsCreative, proactive and not afraid to take initiativeA genuine passion for hospitality and guest experienceThis role will involve travel both nationally and internationally from time to time.What You'll GainHands-on experience across guest relations, sales, marketing, weddings and revenue managementExposure to strategic commercial planning and hotel performance managementOpportunity to growTraining across hotel systems, CRM and digital platformsA supportive, ambitious team in a hotel undergoing major growth and investmentWhy Join The Heights?The Heights Hotel Killarney is a family-owned hotel with big ambition.
