OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to support the purchasing and project teams with day-to-day procurement and administrative activities. The role requires strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and confidence working with systems and data.Key ResponsibilitiesRaise and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely mannerPerform data entry and maintain purchasing records within internal systemsLiaise with Project Managers to support procurement requirementsWork closely with logistics team to ensure smooth flow of goods and documentationManage general POs and assist with administrative purchasing tasksEnsure compliance with internal purchasing procedures and controlsCommunicate with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, and delivery schedules (as required)Skills & Experience RequiredMinimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative roleEconomics background (degree or relevant qualification preferred)Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business operationsTech-savvy with good IT awareness and confidence in using systemsHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data handlingStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyPrevious experience in a purchasing or procurement environmentExposure to logistics or supply chain processesERP experience (Dynamics 365)Personal AttributesOrganised and methodical approach to workProactive and willing to learnComfortable working with multiple stakeholdersTeam player with a professional and positive attitudeAbout the CompanyWhat we offerLife Assurance (immediate)1 day remote (after 3 months)5% pension (after 6 months)Early finish on Friday (1pm)Health Cash Plan (after 6 months)Excellent promotion opportunities within a dynamic companyThe chance to work on exciting projects that shape the future of the marine industryA supportive work environment with a friendly team
