Support the safe and compliant operation of a fast-paced industrial environment by promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture.
Ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures, and legal requirements while driving continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct risk assessments and implement risk reduction measures
Develop and maintain safe operating procedures
Perform regular site inspections and audits
Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and industry standards
Investigate incidents, maintain records, and produce reports/statistics
Advise on fire safety, hazardous substances, noise, machinery safety, and occupational health
Training & Awareness
Deliver manual handling and H&S training
Lead internal training sessions for employees and management
Promote safety awareness and best practices
Qualifications & Experience
Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline
5 years' experience in a manufacturing or service environment
Strong risk assessment and reporting capability
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
ERP knowledge (desirable)
DGSA qualification (desirable)
