Financial Accountant Role
An award-winning organisation with a reputation for excellence and exceptional employer status is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join its 8-strong finance team. Reporting directly to a Financial Controller, you will prepare monthly and annual accounts for Group entities, including associated reconciliations and variance analysis.
* Prepare financial records by journal entries, invoicing, receipts, and payments ensuring all business transactions are recorded.
* Produce and analyse cash flow forecasts including variance analysis.
* Support the relevant monthly reporting requirements with credit providers and senior management.
* Assist in the preparation and compilation of budgets and forecasts.
* Review and reconcile bank and cash balances.
* Oversee and manage Value-Added Tax (VAT) returns.
* Support Accounts Payable in the processing and monitoring of invoicing.
* Develop working relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, and management teams.
* Support the Finance team in driving the adoption of digital technology solutions.
Requirements
A qualified accountant holding a Chartered, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA qualification is essential. You must be an effective team player, possess good communication skills, and demonstrate ambition.
Benefits
This role offers a salary up to €55k, flexible start/finish times, and initially an in-office position transitioning to a hybrid setup after circa 6 months. The position begins as a 12-month contract.
