Role Details
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) with a hybrid work model (3 days in the office).
The Role
We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic, international accounting team. As we expand globally, hiring the right talent and fostering a supportive environment are key to our success. Our company operates in 18 countries, each contributing to our vibrant culture.
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within our expanding organization, focusing on European countries.
* Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and roll-forward schedules.
* Prepare journal entries supporting reconciliations and schedules.
* Handle General Ledger responsibilities, including monthly management reporting, accounting for international subsidiaries, accruals, and more.
* Assist in preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analyses for management.
* Coordinate with HR and outsourcing firms to process international payroll and review payroll reports.
* Support procure-to-pay processes and annual subsidiary audits.
* Contribute to finance SOX compliance activities.
* Participate in process improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
* Handle ad-hoc projects as needed.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
* Experience in general accounting within industry or public accounting, including international subsidiaries; international payroll experience is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
* Proficiency in Excel and effective communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with analytical and prioritization skills.
* ERP experience, especially with D365, is advantageous.
