Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Head of Technical Services – Systems & Avionics. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Technical Services, the Head will oversee all activity within the Technical Services Systems and Avionics departments across the Ryanair Group airlines, and act as Deputy to the Deputy Director in their absence.
In this role you will help drive the teams to ensure the department successfully delivers its core objectives while managing the challenges of fleet growth, with a target of expanding to 800 aircraft and carrying 300 million passengers a year by 2034.
Responsibilities
Drive compliance, operational and efficiency improvements across the Technical Services Systems and Avionics departments.
Operate at the highest level within Ryanair’s Engineering organisation, liaising with Chief Engineers of AOCs and National Authorities.
Demonstrate excellent management skills and the ability to drive change.
Apply a proven track record as a manager in an aircraft engineering organisation, showcasing exceptional technical, commercial and organisational skills.
Qualifications
EASA Part‑66 Aircraft Maintenance License (B1 or B2 preferred).
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management or a related field.
Experience
8+ years of experience in aviation.
Proven experience in a Part M, Part CAMO or Part 145 environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of applicable aviation regulations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Willingness and flexibility to travel as required.
Technical knowledge of Boeing 737, Airbus A320 or Bombardier Challenger is an advantage.
