Business Development Director
Job Summary:
A dynamic and ambitious leader is required to drive the growth of our print and online offerings while driving new business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a high-performing sales department, ensuring performance targets are consistently met and exceeded.
* Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue from print and online advertising initiatives.
* Manage, motivate, and support a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners.
* Identify, develop, and project manage new business opportunities in collaboration with senior management.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
* Deliver outstanding client service and ensure campaign success from inception to completion.
* Prepare and present regular performance and revenue reports to senior leadership.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years proven sales experience in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
* Experience in the media or digital industries is highly advantageous.
* People management experience is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
* Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented individual.
* Full clean driving license and own transport are essential for frequent travel.
