Job OverviewWe are recruiting for the role of a Full time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team in the Cork International Hotel located in Cork Airport Business Park.As a member of our Food & Beverage team, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests while maintaining the high standards of the Trigon Hotel Group.ResponsibilitiesReporting for duty on time and wearing the correct uniform.Preparing the restaurant and service areas before each shift.Setting tables according to the required standards.Ensuring service stations are clean, organised, and fully stocked.Serving food and beverages in the restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, and banqueting areas.Taking guest orders, processing billing, and completing end-of-shift cash‑ups.Providing professional and friendly service during events and functions.Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all Food & Beverage areas.Assisting with linen stock control and general tidiness of the working areas.Communicating hotel services and facilities to guests when required.Responding to guest queries or concerns in a professional manner and reporting them to management.Ensuring guests' needs are met and delivering excellent customer service at all times.Health, Safety & StandardsMaintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming in line with company guidelines.Following all hygiene and food safety regulations.Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.Reporting accidents, incidents, or damage where necessary.Ensuring fire exits and routes remain clear at all times.Participating in fire drills and safety procedures.Team & DevelopmentAttending departmental meetings and training sessions as required.Supporting your colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.Carrying out any additional duties assigned by management to support the smooth running of the department.Ideal CandidatePrevious experience is welcomed.Warm, positive personality with genuine interest in guest care.Team player and also willing to use own initiative when needed.Available to work weekdays and weekends (day and evening shifts).Competitive rate of pay.Relocation assistance.Access to our Company Pension Scheme.Employee referral bonus.Friends & Family discounts across our restaurants.Special rates in our hotel accommodation.Paid internal and external training days.Access to Trained Mental Health First Aiders.Team Member Annual Awards, Service Recognition, Monthly Team Member of The Month.
