Role Overview
As a Network Engineer, you will configure, implement, and maintain network architecture to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your responsibilities include monitoring system performance, performing updates, collaborating with the Global IT Infrastructure Network team to enhance security, and documenting configurations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure network standards and best practices for LAN/WAN/Wireless/Networks, including manufacturing and building automation systems.
2. Implement and monitor network security measures.
3. Manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
4. Collaborate with regional and local IT teams and stakeholders.
5. Maintain network compliance with policies and standards.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5-8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 2-5 years, or PhD with 0-2 years.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Expertise in network hardware, TCP/IP, Cisco (preferred), and/or Extreme routing/switching/WiFi.
* Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting, familiar with ITIL environments.
* Knowledge of IT service management solutions like ServiceNow.
* Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
