Transport Planning Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage daily transport planning operations and ensure smooth, efficient logistics across pan-European routes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in cost control, transport optimisation, and service delivery within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Manage daily transport planning operations and identify areas for improvement.
* Create and implement cost-efficient transport solutions for OOG cargo across Europe.
* Schedule and manage driver rosters, ensuring compliance with EU working time directives.
* Act as the main point of contact for drivers and liaise with clients to maintain service quality.
* Monitor and refine delivery and collection processes, costs, and systems.
* Oversee fleet tracking and performance optimisation.
* Coordinate with and manage 3rd party hauliers.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar transport planning role.
* Strong understanding of EU transport laws and route planning systems.
* Experience managing 3rd party hauliers and understanding cost structures.
* Excellent geographical knowledge of Ireland and Europe.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
* CPC qualification is an advantage.
