Purpose Of The Role
The person will be responsible for handling freight in a safe, efficient manner in accordance with the Drivers Handbook, Company Quality Procedures and Statutory requirements, in the most cost effective way servicing Main Carriage duties between the Dachser Ireland sites.
As a representative of the Company the successful applicant will be required to act in a professional manner at all times, ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring that schedules are adhered to and delivery times are met.
Accurate completion of all required paperwork and company hand-held devices.
Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety, Road Safety, Quality and ADR requirements.
Maintain a safe environment, report any health & safety incidents or concerns immediately.
Maintain ADR training and all other relevant certification.
Perform all other duties deemed appropriate, necessary, required, or directed by management.
Skills & Experience
Current ADR licence
HGV Class 1 Licence
Communicate effectively in English written and verbal
2 years experience in a similar role
