HOW THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
The role is part of the Kerrygold Park senior leadership team, overseeing the capital projects portfolio. It manages all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, budget, and compliance are met.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage site capital projects from concept to completion and sign-off
* Control the entire project portfolio, including:
o Scoping & Design
o Business Case & Approvals
o Budgeting
o Planning & Scheduling
o Execution & Delivery
o Tendering & Vendor Selection
o Contractor Negotiation & Management
o Compliance with codes and standards
o Communication, Tracking, Reporting, Stakeholder Management
o Project Documentation Control
REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
* 5+ years in engineering projects or capital management
* Experience in implementing projects in a live manufacturing plant
* Budget management and cost control experience
* Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills
* Proven project delivery success
* Operational expertise in dairy processing
* Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software
* Knowledge of Operational Excellence techniques
* Ability to contribute strategically as part of a senior team
* Systematic approach to project portfolio management
