Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Junior Paralegal to support a U.S.-based estate planning and trust administration practice.This is a client-facing (email-based) role focused on document drafting support, revision management, and signing coordination, with a clear growth path into junior paralegal support for attorney workflows.This role is ideal for someone who is process-driven, accurate, reliable, and comfortable working strictly from SOPs.Key Responsibilities (Phase 1 – First 6 Months)Client Communication (Email Only)Serve as the primary client contact via email during drafting, review, and post-signing stagesFollow up on drafts, revisions, approvals, and outstanding client "homework."Copy internal team members on all client communicationsEscalate substantive or legal questions to the teamDrafting & Document SupportReview asset information and prepare drafting notesDraft ancillary estate planning documents, deeds, and supporting materialsRevise documents strictly per attorney's or supervisor's instructionsDraft Review & Revision ManagementBuild and maintain client draft folders in secure document vaultsPrepare and send draft review emails using firm templatesTrack revision status and upload client feedback accuratelyPre-Signing Support (No Signings)Build signing packages in e-signature platforms (e.g., Proof, DocuSign)Send transactions to clients and monitor completionConfirm all documents are uploaded correctly prior to signingNotify the internal team once signing is completedPost-Signing & Funding SupportPrepare finalized PDFs and executed document foldersFinalize Certificates of TrustSend deeds for recording and notify clients accordinglyGrowth Track (After ~6 Months)Sit in on attorney-client meetingsEnter and manage client data in Wealth Counsel (training provided)Prepare post-meeting and follow-up emailsAct as a dedicated junior paralegal support for the attorneyRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience supporting U.S. law firms as a Legal Assistant or Junior ParalegalAdvanced Microsoft Word skills (Track Changes, formatting, pagination)Experience handling legal documents, revisions, and version controlStrong professional written English for client-facing communicationExperience working with case management systems (Clio or similar)Ability to follow SOPs, templates, and structured workflows preciselyComfortable working US business hours on a long-term basisEstate planning experience is preferred but not required; accuracy, trainability, and reliability are essential.
