The Community Liaison Officer plays a pivotal role in fostering relationships between the community and key stakeholders, including Cork City Council.
Main Responsibilities Include:
* Attending meetings with local authorities to discuss project progress and address concerns
* Maintaining accurate records of meetings and correspondence
* Liaising with local schools to coordinate holiday periods and ensure minimal disruption
* Facilitating communication between project teams and the general public
* Developing strategies for effective stakeholder management
In addition to these responsibilities, the Community Liaison Officer will create and distribute regular newsletters, manage social media presence, and participate in public forums to maintain transparency and open communication.
About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled individual who can provide administrative support, including document control, site inductions, and reception duties. Key responsibilities include:
* Organizing site inductions and maintaining up-to-date induction registers
* Coordinating the receipt and signing for materials and plant equipment delivery
* Providing administrative assistance and compiling reports for weekly/monthly updates
* Managing training requirements and coordinating schedules for site teams
