Our client is a successful manufacturing business based in North Co. Dublin. The business has experienced steady growth and offers a collaborative environment where finance works closely with operations to support commercial decision‑making.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will support the financial management of the organisation through accurate reporting, budgeting support and maintaining strong financial controls. The role will also involve working closely with operational teams to support cost management and financial performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
Assisting with the preparation of year‑end statutory accounts
Ensuring accurate journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting the external audit process
Assisting with the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting
Supporting financial modelling and analysis
Assisting with inventory valuation, stock reconciliations and expiry provisions
Working closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure financial accuracy
Supporting cash flow reporting and working capital management
Supporting reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives
The Person
Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
5+ years' post qualified experience
Strong commercial or operational finance exposure
Experience in a manufacturing or pharma environment would be advantageous
Strong Excel and analytical skills
High attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with operational teams
