Overview
Chef de Partie - catering role at Gourmet Food Parlour, based in Santry, Dublin, Ireland. This is a full-time position within the catering department.
Responsibilities
* Run your own section and work to order, coordinating with timings to ensure service runs smoothly.
* Prepare food to standard recipes and adapt as needed to meet customers' requirements.
* Engage with and understand our management and floor team; respond to customer needs with clear and pleasant communication.
* Maintain high standards of presentation and attention to detail.
* Be able to perform multiple tasks within the store during each shift as required.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy kitchen.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Interest in latest food trends and enjoy creating new dishes.
* Attention to detail and strong presentation skills.
* Ability to run own section and coordinate with timings.
* HACCP trained to level 2 minimum.
* Flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
* Meet store operating policies and standards, including HACCP guidelines and safety and security.
* Comply with a strict dress and personal hygiene code that meets HACCP guidelines.
