Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, review, and approve civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
* Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
* Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
* Manage project timelines, costs, and resources effectively.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures on site.
* Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
* Provide solutions to technical problems and adapt designs as required.
Key Skills & Competencies
* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
* Proficiency in design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, or similar).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong project management and organizational abilities.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
* Professional Engineer (PE/Chartered Engineer) status desirable (depending on region).
* 2-5 years' relevant experience for junior/mid-level roles; 5-10+ years for senior roles.
* Experience in design, construction, or project management in civil engineering projects.
* Full clean EU Drivers Licence
