One of our key clients, a leading furniture manufacturer are currently looking for a Truck Delivery Driver with a valid Category C driving license to join their team in Co. Roscommon. You’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, helping ensure smooth and efficient operations.
This is a permanent position.
Your new job
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Drive a Category C truck to deliver goods safely between sites
* Load, unload, and secure goods with care
* Follow planned routes and meet delivery schedules
* Keep records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel use
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
* Represent the company professionally during deliveries
* Comply with traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company procedures
What are we looking for?
* Full Category C driving licence is required
* Driver CPC and valid digital tachograph card
* Experience in truck driving and goods delivery
* Solid understanding of road safety and transport rules
* Strong organisational and timekeeping skills
* Capable of handling heavy loads when necessary
* Clean driving record preferred
