*6 Month Fixed Term Contract* (Potential Opportunity for extension)
The Brand Marketing Manager reports to the Marketing Communications Manager, and is responsible for the strategic development, management and implementation of the Gas Networks Ireland brand architecture, advertising campaigns and marketing communications collateral.
Supporting the Marketing Communications Manager in the development of a strategic marketing communications plan and its implementation as well as the delivery of all related marketing activities across the different functions and marketing streams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all marketing communications activity for the Gas Networks Ireland Brand – develop and implement marketing plans to deliver agreed objectives, manage all marketing, advertising, promotional activity and events in collaboration with the relevant teams.
Define and implement targets and KPIs to track and measure success for all brand marketing and advertising activities.
Provide marketing expertise, advice and support to the business as required.
Oversee the appointment and management of key external agencies, including creative, media, design and research agencies.
Generate new ideas and formulate differentiated market propositions tailored to different customer segments and channels.
Conduct and evaluate market research to deliver insights and direction for marketing and advertising plans.
Work closely with the Digital Manager to maximise digital and social media opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the marketing communications team to ensure an integrated approach to the management of the Gas Networks Ireland brand and corporate identity.
Develop marketing communications collateral as required including brochures, merchandise, and exhibition stands.
Manage marketing budgets and other campaign budgets in conjunction with business units.
Other duties may also be assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Marketing or relevant third level degree with 5-7 years' experience in a similar position.
Proven ability to create and develop good working relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals, coupled with the ability to gain commitment from others.
Experience with identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas and implementing solutions.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements and propose and implement solutions.
Experience managing ATL brand marketing campaigns, creative and media buying.
Ability to set up ongoing procedures to collect and review information as needed.
Proactively identifying new areas of learning and using newly gained knowledge and skills on the job.
Ability to set own high standards of performance and deliver desired results.
