Senior procurement and planning specialist

Key Responsibilities:

* Purchasing and planning managers are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining production plans to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
* They manage the balance between financial targets, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction by analyzing and optimizing processes.
* Purchasing and planning managers oversee the ordering of raw materials and components to meet production schedules, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
* They continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and inventory turnover, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Purchasing and planning managers lead and develop teams to achieve operational excellence and contribute to business growth.
* They work closely with production and quality departments to maintain high levels of customer service and support strategic initiatives such as new product introductions and process improvements.

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
* Experience in sales and operational planning systems
* Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
* Knowledge of MS Nav and Oracle supply chain tools desirable
* Strong IT competence required
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, suppliers, customers, and external partners
