Clandillon Civil Consulting (CCC) is an Irish civil engineering consultancy that, through its work with many of Ireland’s biggest civil engineering contractors, has been involved in some of Ireland’s largest recent infrastructure projects including N17 N18 Gort to Tuam Motorway, Luas Cross City, N4 Collooney to Castlebaldwin, N8 Dunkettle Interchange and most recent, Bus Connects. CCC is dedicated to providing exceptional services in the execution of infrastructure projects and specialises in applying sound judgement in order to identify opportunities and provide solutions for our Clients.
Due to growth within the team, CCC is now looking to recruit a CAD Technician. The successful candidate will report into Senior CAD Manager, working with the engineering teams to scope the work and produce the required drawing and design information.
CAD Technician – The Role
* Drafting of engineering drawings to high standard suitable for use in construction and engineering reports
* Development of 3D models
* Agreeing workload priorities with CCC management and operating in accordance with CCC CAD standards.
* Any other duties, as deemed necessary, that fall within the remit and level of the position.
What You Need – The Skills And Competencies
* A recognised degree or certificate in an engineering discipline would be of benefit. Relevant software courses with a combination of work experience will be considered as an alternative
* Knowledge of drawing software tools – Autodesk and Autodesk Civil 3D
* Knowledge of Revit and Navis Works desirable
* Relevant industry experience in detailed drafting within a civil infrastructure design environment is desirable
* Good communication skills
* Team player with the ability to work on own initiative as required
* Confident in using all Microsoft Office products
* Current right to work in the Republic of Ireland
