Our Tax Services team is looking for a Manager to support in all aspects of transaction tax advisory. The role will involve supporting the restructuring unit on all tax related matters and well as providing M&A and real estate transaction tax support to our growing advisory client base.
Free from audit conflicts, our tax practice benefits from the expanding client-base and market reach of Interpath Advisory. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including private investors and corporate groups of all shapes and sizes, ranging from mid-market, owner-managed businesses up to large multinationals, as well as private equity houses, investment funds and institutional investors.
This role will give you exposure to all aspects of transaction tax advisory across all tax heads and you will be able build up a great internal network.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assisting the restructuring teams across all tax aspects of their work including liquidations and receiverships.
- Dealing with Irish Revenue on complex tax controversy matters.
- Providing advice on company reorganisations and restructuring transactions.
- Providing tax advice on large commercial real estate transaction.
- Assisting with transactional projects such as M&A tax due diligence.
- Training and developing junior members of the team to support a continuing high-performance culture.
- Assisting the senior team with business development and thought leadership
The role is suitable for someone who relishes working within a fast-moving environment, can adapt to a range of client engagements and is willing to accept new challenges within a small but growing team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a combination of technical excellence, strong teamwork skills and the ability to build trusted internal and external relationships.
- Be ACA / CTA qualified or equivalent professional tax qualification.
- Have strong Irish corporate tax experience. Consideration will be given to VAT trained professionals who are seeking to broaden their tax experience.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to deal confidently and articulately with clients and internal stakeholder.
- An ability to plan and deliver work against tight deadlines
- Be capable of operating in a fast-moving environment and enjoy working in a dynamic and supportive team
