What you will be doing:
Safety
* Safety of all persons on site is the first priority and is a core Gray value. You will deliver site safety induction and champion the Behavioral Safety Program.
* Manage, measure, and report the construction performance across all key areas of Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost
* Hold prestart briefings with the contractors on site.
* Review the methodology & risk assessment prior to starting works on site.
Execution
* Represent Gray as the PSCS for the duration of the construction phase
* Overseeing the civil, electrical and mechanical installation works
* Actively promote compliance with the Construction Safety & Health Plan and Environmental Management plans. Intervene directly if any unsafe situations or practices are observed.
* Interface with the customer daily to ensure all relevant permits are in place
Construction Management
* Plan and direct the construction activities and support activities.
* Ensure sufficient coordination meetings are being held, minutes issued and ensure all parties are clear on the sequence of work
* Compile progress reports and ensure they accurately report on the progress of the project.
* Review weekly lookaheads to ensure project milestones are clear and can be achieved.
* Communicate and liaise with the other project parties (Customer, Design, Commissioning, End Users etc.) as required throughout the project.
* Oversee the project Commissioning ,Qualification and Validation stages of the project.
* Hold Townhall meetings with construction team and communication sessions as required.
* Identify and escalate issues to senior management where required
* Conduct necessary Quality checks.
About you: Qualifications & Experience
* Degree Qualification in an Engineering discipline or similar
* Minimum 6/7 years' experience with site project experience
* Experience with managing manufacturing & industrial projects
* Experience and knowledge of all main project management concepts, tools, and techniques
* Ability to coordinate with the engineering department.
* Professionally qualified on the related discipline
* Conversant to a competent level with Microsoft Office Suite etc
* Ability to read P&ID's and Construction drawings
* Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets.
