Purpose:
Monitor, inspect, and perform repairs or installations to ensure a safe, efficient, and effective maintenance program, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Construction. Track, relocate, and record equipment, property, and supplies as required. Complete additional duties to meet operational needs, including 24/7 emergency services.
Salary Range:
$49,920 - $52,000
Job Duties:
* Perform maintenance, repairs, and support functions across various trades (electrical, lighting, grounds, galley repair, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
* Complete tasks such as re-lamping, plumbing repairs, restroom stall replacements, drain cleaning, mechanical repairs, cleaning, furniture and fixture setup.
* Collaborate with or train under the Facilities Director.
* Utilize project management technology (preferred).
* Assess system issues, perform repairs if possible, or report to contractors.
* Relocate YWCA property to meet operational needs.
* Inspect, monitor, and manage building access as assigned.
* Participate in the 24/7 emergency on-call rotation.
* Ensure premises are safe, secure, and clean.
* Maintain a valid Driver's License.
Formal Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training, EPA Universal Certification, valid driver's license. Familiarity with project management technology (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* HVAC experience and knowledge of facility operations, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and maintenance.
* Understanding of plumbing codes, building systems, safety protocols, and customer service techniques.
* Ability to lift and relocate furniture and equipment (up to 70 lbs), climb ladders up to 30 feet, work in various weather conditions.
