On behalf of a well-established, family-run business in West Dublin who haverecentlybeenacquired by a PLC investor, we areseeking a hands-on Financial Controller to run the finance function and support the business through its next stage.As Financial Controller you will be the day-to-day finance lead, responsible for producing accurate management information, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting commercial decision-making during a period of change. This is a high-visibility, autonomous role with real scope to influence systems and future finance hires.Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end close and prepare management accounts, KPIs and variance analysis.Manage budgeting, forecasting and rolling cashflow projections.Prepare statutory accounting packs and liaise with auditors and tax advisors.Oversee sales ledger, purchase ledger and stock/inventory reconciliations; manage working capital.Provide commercial analysis (margin, cost of goods sold) to support operations and sales.Manage external providers (payroll, tax, banking) and co-ordinate integration activities with the investor group.Qualifications:Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA).3–5 years' post-qualification experience in industry (commercial/SME environment preferred).Comfortable in a small-to-medium enterprise: practical, hands-on and flexible.Proficient in Excel and experienced with an ERP/accounting system.Clear communicator able to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.This is an excellent opportunity to shape finance processes during an exciting growth & integration phase.For more information, apply within with full CV.
