It is the leading supplier of sheet materials for the field of visual communication supplying FOAMALITE (rigid foam plastic sheets) and LUMEX (transparent and translucent PET sheets).The branded products are available from specialised distribution partners in the paper, plastics and metal industry, and are mainly used for direct-to-substrate digital printing, screen printing, photo mounting and applications in signs and displays, graphic arts, POS/ PPP advertising and exhibitions.Start with us as: Process EngineerLocation: Loch Gowna | Entry date: 03/02/2026Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, analyse, and optimise polymer manufacturing processes to improve yield and qualityDevelop and implement process improvements, cost-reduction initiatives, and efficiency projectsMonitor all aspects of the production process to ensure that full advantage is achieved by the company of all new R&D developments and ensure completed on time and in detail with procedures, processes and equipment.Perform new colour and raw material testing on an ongoing basisShow results in reports and KPI's.Keep up to date with international trends/formulationsSupport the establishment and monitoring of product quality standards and evaluations, implement adjustments or corrective actions to maximise first pass quality and reduce waste levels with all cost reduction initiates.Research in purchasing of new manufacturing technology.Provide day-to-day technical support to production teams to resolve process issues and deviationsConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actionsSupport scale-up of new products, formulations, and process changesDevelop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and operating parametersCollaborate with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standardsAnalyse process data using statistical and engineering tools to drive continuous improvementSupport commissioning, trials, and validation of new equipment and technologiesQualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field2+ years of experience in a polymer, plastics, or chemical manufacturing environment (experience level can be adjusted)Strong understanding of polymer processing techniques such as extrusion, injection moulding, compounding, or polymerisationExperience with process control, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)Familiarity with quality systems (ISO, or similar)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career progressionExposure to advanced polymer manufacturing technologies
