An important University hospital in the West of Ireland requires a rotating Registrar in General Internal Medicine.
This immediate vacancy is open for doctors who has at least 3 years of experience in EU, except South African, New Zealand Australian, Canadian and USA doctors who can apply without this condition
DESCRIPTION:
The hospital provides a comprehensive range of services to emergency and elective patients on an inpatient, outpatient and day care basis.
The hospital plays a vital role in acute service delivery providing regional services for a wide range of specialities and is also a designated supra regional centre for cancer and cardiac services serving a catchment area in the region of one million people along the West from Donegal to Tipperary North.
The hospital is a Model 4 hospital providing 24/7 acute surgery, acute medicine, and critical care and it is recognised for Higher Medical Training in all specialities.

Initial contract of 12 months .

Approximate net monthly salary of € net/month after tax and pension deductions for Registrar positions incluiding 4-5 on-calls per month (48 hours week max in average in accordance with EU legislation).
3 weeks per semester of paid annual leave.
MRCP examination can be reinbursed if you pass.

Requirements and Qualifications:
IMC General registration. If you are in the process you should have already sumitted your papers to the IMC.
Have a very good command of written and spoken English. IELTs band 7 score in average and/ination B grade in average is a requirement for Registrar positions unless you can prove you registered with the IMC before the 1st of January ****. This requirement may be waived temporarily if you can communicate and write well in English and you can commit to take the examination once you are in your employment.
