What You’ll Do (Supporting Qualified Electricians)
Solar PV Installation: Assist with the electrical installation of Solar PV systems, including wiring panels, inverters, isolators, and battery storage.
Connections & Testing: Learn how to safely integrate systems into building networks and the national grid, as well as run diagnostic and performance testing.
Site Preparation: Help set up containment, route cabling neatly, and maintain an exceptionally clean, organized workspace.
Safety First: Learn and apply strict safety protocols, including PPE compliance and lockout/tagout procedures.
What You Bring
Apprenticeship Status: Registered Electrical Apprentice, ideally having completed Phase 4 and/or Phase 6.
Skills: Strong core electrical knowledge, a keen eye for detail, and a pride in clean, tidy workmanship.
Attitude: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a genuine eagerness to learn renewable energy technologies.
Tickets & Logistics: Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and Working at Heights. A full or provisional driver’s license is a distinct advantage.
