The RoleWe are seeking a strategic and people-focused People Experience Communications Manager to lead divisional communications and employee engagement for the Supply Chain and Retail division. This role is central to shaping the colleague experience — ensuring colleagues feel informed, inspired, and connected to our vision, culture, and ways of working.The successful candidate will balance two core priorities:Communications: creating and delivering clear, engaging, and consistent messages across multiple channels.Engagement: developing initiatives and platforms that build belonging, recognition, and advocacy.You will be the divisional owner of Uniphi, our internal engagement and communications platform, ensuring it becomes a dynamic hub for connection, recognition, and collaboration. Working closely with the Head of Learning & People Experience and divisional leaders, you will play a key role in building an inclusive, connected, and high-performing culture.Key OutcomesEmployee EngagementDesign and deliver engagement strategies that build connection, motivation, and advocacy across the division.Lead divisional engagement campaigns, recognition programmes, and colleague events.Own Uniphi: curate inspiring content, encourage participation, and drive adoption as the central channel for engagement and communication.Partner with leaders to amplify divisional culture, values, and employee voice.Support delivery of divisional ED&I initiatives through inclusive engagement and communications.Internal CommunicationsDevelop and deliver integrated communications strategies aligned with divisional goals and people priorities.Lead change communications to support transformation, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment.Produce compelling written and visual content for internal channels (Uniphi, newsletters, presentations, leadership updates).Collaborate with group Corporate Communications and Investor Relations to support external storytelling about divisional priorities.Ensure all communications are timely, consistent, and aligned with our brand and tone of voice.Digital Platforms & MeasurementManage divisional content calendars across Uniphi and other channels.Use analytics, insights, and feedback to measure the effectiveness of communications and engagement initiatives.Continuously refine strategies to maximise colleague connection and impact.Key Skills & Experiences4–6 years' experience in communications, engagement, or related people-focused roles, ideally in a complex, fast-paced business.Strong track record in designing and delivering both communications strategies and colleague engagement initiatives.Hands-on experience managing digital platforms (intranet, engagement apps, or colleague communication hubs).Exceptional writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.Strong interpersonal and influencing skills — able to partner effectively with leaders and employees alike.Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Passionate about people experience, culture, and the role of communications in driving belonging and performance.Degree in Communications, HR, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline desirable.Uniphar – Who we areWith a workforce of more than 3000 employees spread across Ireland, United Kingdom, Mainland Europe, MENA, and the USA, Uniphar is a trusted global partner to pharma and MedTech manufacturers, working to improve patient access to medicines around the world.
