The team partners with business and technical stakeholders across the full technology stack. In this role, you will be part of a global Security team, providing operational, engineering, and consultative support across security monitoring, vulnerability management, and perimeter/endpoint controls.You will gain exposure to a large and complex network environment and learn how security technologies and practices are applied to defend against modern threats. This includes administering, supporting, and implementing technologies that manage access, identify vulnerabilities, and enhance overall security posture. The role provides broad exposure to information security technologies such as firewalls, authentication and encryption technologies, VPNs, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and remote access solutions.You will be part of a global security programme, collaborating with colleagues across multiple locations and occasionally travelling to build strong working relationships. The environment supports continuous learning and growth, with fast-moving, evolving technology teams and new challenges regularly emerging.THIS IS A BRAND NEW ROLEIT IS PERMANENT AND ONSITE 5 DAYS A WEEKTHIS ROLE IS PAYING €120,000 - €150,000 BASE SALARYTHIS IS A VERY TECHNICAL ROLE REQUIRING A BOARD LEVEL OF EXPERIENCEFor This Role:5+ years of hands-on experience in security, network engineering, systems engineering, architecture, or system administration5+ years of professional experience across one or more information security domains, such as:Security EngineeringSecurity AdministrationSecurity Analysis / SOC OperationsPenetration Testing / Red TeamingStrong understanding of core information security principles, common attack vectors, defensive controls, and industry-standard mitigation techniques.Strong understanding of network security (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, segmentation).Good understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP security controls, IAM, network boundaries).Proficiency in identity and access management (RBAC/ABAC, SSO, MFA).Familiarity with endpoint security tools (EDR, antivirus, MDM).Strong knowledge of Linux or Windows hardening.Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).Knowledge of secure network architecture and zero-trust principles.Ability to design, tune, and operate SIEM, SOAR, and log analytics pipelines.Experience with vulnerability scanning and patch management processes.Ability to automate security workflows using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes, image scanning, runtime controls).
