Job Description
CLO Middle Office Analyst
U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services is one of the largest providers of corporate trust services in the world. Our clients look to us for trustee, agency, escrow, document custody, and money market issuing services via our 48 domestic offices and three international offices.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our dynamic and growing CLO Middle Office team, within our European Corporate Trust business in Dublin, supporting key clients and their CLO funds. The team is based at our Cherrywood Office (Cherrywood Business Park, Dublin 18).
The role will focus on two main areas: approximately 50% on Loan closing activities and the remaining on daily deal reconciliations for US clients.
- Coordinate with counterparties and agents to agree on settlement dates, requiring knowledge of transfer documentation including funding memos, netting letters, participation agreements, transfer certificates, and trade fee calculations.
- Research trade breaks between the trade platform and trade tickets provided by Collateral Managers.
- Interpret Credit Agreements when reviewing trade documents.
- Coordinate closing of syndicated and privately negotiated loans.
- Perform daily deal reconciliation and produce client deliverables by US opening hours.
- Investigate and resolve breaks.
We are seeking candidates with some direct Loan Closing experience, CLO transaction and reporting knowledge, or a banking operations background with relevant skills. We are open to developing individuals with relatable skills in this role.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Loan Closing, CLO Middle Office, reporting, or related banking operations experience.
- Familiarity with ClearPar, LMA, and LSTA documentation is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in client interactions or client calls is beneficial.
- Team player attitude.
- Office location: Cherrywood (3 days a week in the office).
