This postdoctoral fellow will lead the next evolution of ANF's youth STEAM programme in the Fingal area, focusing on youth-led inquiry into technology, sustainability, systems change, and the future of urban life.
We are seeking a researcher-educator who works critically, creatively, and collaboratively; someone who can hold space for young people to become co-designers, co-researchers, and full partners in imagining possible futures.
This role balances programme delivery with the development of an independent research agenda around youth agency, critical pedagogies, and participatory inquiry.
The role will be a Trinity College Dublin appointment reporting directly to the Principal Investigator (Assistant Prof. Mairéad Hurley) in the CONNECT Research Centre at TCD.
The successful candidate will also liaise on day-to-day activities with the Academy of the Near Future Engagement Programme Manager.
While working as part of the project team, the successful candidate will have responsibility for delivery of the project goals and reporting on the project to the CONNECT Centre.
This role requires regular on-site presence at Trinity College Dublin and the delivery of education activities across the Fingal area.
While occasional remote working is supported, in-person availability is essential.
