Job Title: PLC Programmer
Location: Remote and On the Road, Ireland

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PLC Programmer to join a team on a permanent basis in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens Step 7, with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a client‑facing environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens Step 7.
Perform PLC installation, testing, and commissioning.
Develop and configure HMI interfaces.
Troubleshoot and resolve PLC and HMI system issues.
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support.
Prepare and maintain documentation for PLC systems and processes.
Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Work closely with project managers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
Proven experience as a PLC Programmer.
Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens Step 7.
Strong understanding of PLC installation and commissioning processes.
Experience with HMI development and configuration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a client‑facing environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel within Ireland as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications in Siemens PLC programming.
Experience in various industrial sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, or pharmaceuticals.
