The Cybersecurity Project Manager will be responsible for all the project management needs for assigned projects within the cybersecurity portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing large-scale cybersecurity projects with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.

McKesson is looking for a seasoned candidate to support existing projects as well as introduce new practices and processes based on latest trends and market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

* Direct and Drive Program Delivery: Spearhead the planning, execution, and monitoring of cybersecurity programs. Ensure that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the defined objectives and regulatory requirements.

* Cultivate and Manage Resources: Lead efforts to allocate resources effectively across cybersecurity projects and programs. Develop methods to balance resource constraints with project demands, ensuring optimal utilization.

* Drive Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Cultivate a proactive approach to risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with cybersecurity projects. Ensure that risk management practices are integrated into program planning and execution.

* Manage Project Communications and Engagement with Stakeholders: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements to ensure alignment and support.

* Lead Performance Evaluation: Implement metrics and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of cybersecurity projects. Report on project performance, outcomes, and areas for improvement to leadership.

Requirements:

A successful Cybersecurity Project Manager should have a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP) in relevant disciplines are preferred.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of professional project management experience with proven planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills. Effective leadership, training, and presentation skills, as well as experience in leading multiple, highly-diverse teams to achieve results.
