Job Opportunity
You have the chance to join a team of engineers and technicians working on various projects, assisting in the preparation of feasibility studies, scheme reports, preliminary and detailed design for highways and active travel projects throughout the UK and Ireland. You may be required to attend progress meetings and public exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of feasibility studies, scheme reports, preliminary and detailed design for highways and active travel projects.
- Attending progress meetings and public exhibitions as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering with nearing Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.
- Understanding of TII Publications, UK DMRB.
- Experience in the design of Major Highway, Local Road or Active Travel schemes.
- Confident with proven interpersonal and communication skills and capable of managing a challenging workload subject to change at short notice.
- Basic knowledge of project management, contractual issues and experience of construction supervision.
